Friend Emma Condori Mamani will talk about the effects of climate change in Bolivia here at the Madison Friends Meetinghouse.

Madison Friends Meeting welcomes Emma Condori Mamani, Quaker activist and Executive Director of the Friends International Bilingual Center (FIBC) in La Paz, Bolivia. Emma will describe the work of young adult Quaker volunteers to mitigate the effects of climate change on the indigenous communities of the Bolivian Altiplano.

Fun facts: Bolivia has the third highest population of Quakers in the world after Kenya and the U.S. Most Bolivian Quakers are of indigenous descent. For more information contact Sita Diehl.
