This is an introduction to the work that is being done by Voces de la Frontera (VDLF) to protect the immigrant communities throughout Wisconsin. Participants will learn about the Community Defense Network that has been created, and continues to grow in Wisconsin and Dane County. In this training, we also will discuss the purpose of the community hotline and other resources and support for immigrants. Most importantly, we will talk about the steps to take when ICE agents are present in our neighborhoods and how allies can stand in solidarity with immigrant communities.
