Quaker Book Group starts April 5

Join us as the Quaker Book group resumes on Sunday, April 5th from 1-2:15 pm, in the Sunroom with a study of The Journal of John Woolman, a classic must-read for any serious Quaker seeker! On April 5th, we will consider chapters 1-3, so please arrive having read them if possible. Then, we will continue meeting on the first 3 Sundays in April, May, and June. June will probably see us sharing on the book by John Punshon, Encounter with Silence: Reflections from the Quaker Tradition.

Please let us know if you think you will have childcare needs, so we can set that up!

There are 3 copies in our Meetinghouse library still, and perhaps we could again call on generous Friends to loan copies when need arises. In addition, there are some online resources, including ThriftBooks and AbeBooks (which appears to be a good deal cheaper).

I have found that reading these profound texts and sharing a discussion about them with other seekers has nourished my soul very much. I hope you will consider joining us!
